Friends and political opposites, Liz Plank and Shermichael Singleton, discuss and bring together varying voices around under-examined people, policies, cultural trends and issues deserving of a more in-depth look.
Each pre-taped weekly episode had a studio segment and a feature segment on a single topic. As the sole motion designer on the production team I was responsible for designing and building out a toolkit of lower thirds, maps, archival and data viz that the edit could plug in quickly when needed. Additionally, each feature segment would require one or more explainers which I would design and animate each week.
